New Dare

So I was scanning my favorite blogs and saw that Tina was hosting the next fall swap over at the dares.  If you recall, I was able to get my stuff in on time for Jamaica's host and I am hoping I get it in on time for Tina's.  Here is my take on where I stand.

I think I may have mentioned that I am new to blogging and posting scrap pages.  The journaling on this page is not clear at all, but it reads as follows:

Ohine Niwa shows where
I stand. This African symbol
of royalty reminds me that the
King, my God has many eyes
and nothing is hidden from Him.
I am forever reminded that
I am not alone, He is always with
me, to protect me, guide meteach me.
Where I stand with vigilance
and beautyall perfectly marked
on my foot.
Where do I stand?
On a strong foundation of
faith, strength and solid ground.

This Dare documents the meaning behind the tattoo on my foot.  Outside of the spiritual meaning of the tattoo...it also holds meaning because my father and I got the same tattoo together (except his is on his arm).  I was not raised by my father and he lived 3000 miles away from me.  So, when I got older and we began to spend time together, he agreed to get a tattoo with me.  I may not see my dad often or talk to him all the time...but this tattoo reminds me that regardless of how things happened...he does love me.
