Where have I been??

Busy and neglecting this blog that's where!!

But, I was cruising along on the web and said...hmm...I need to update my ol' blog!

So, let me fill you in since the last post.

You recall that Maxwell concert that my dear hubby planned to take me to? Well...the dagum show was cancelled!! What in the world is going on with Maxwell? I am hoping that he has a perfectly good explanation for all of this because I was soooooo looking forward to going. But my dear maxwell...i will wait for you, lol!!

I have also been scrapbooking a lot with my Studio Calico kits. If you don't know about this place....please, please go check them out http://www.studiocalico.com/. Hopefully, I will take some pictures and post them. Also, my scrappin ladies, the Mocha Scrappers worked on a cool project that I need to post as well.

Friday, I am taking the day off work to hang out with my girl Tamika and we plan to go to Ikea and the Cheesecake Factory....woo hoo!!!

Okay...so let me show you some things that have caught my eye lately:

2. www.KellieMedivitz.com - This chick is a graphic artist and posts free printable goodies on her site.

been a minute...

since i did a blog post. i must admit that i am still getting used to this whole blogging thing. it's so easy to read other people's blog and admire all the pictures and words...it's another thing to take the time to do it yourself...lol!
so, i recently went to Charleston, SC for a work related conference...relaxing i must say - as much as work can be. did not really get to do much shopping do to lack of extra $$$$...but i made it a point to check out a couple bakeries.

first stop...Baked.
i first heard of them in Oprah magazine...10/09 i believe. anyway, she raved about this baked brownie....well i had it and let's just say this was O-mazing...hee hee hee!!!!! i also picked up a strawberry whoopie pie and a souvenir mug...nice enough stop

next in line was cupcake. cute, cute shop...expensive though...3.00 for a mini cupcake???? c'mon!! i did indulge and chose the chocolate chip cheesecake cupcake....pure bliss!

hmmm...what else been going on??? working and doing the mommy/wifey thing! i did enjoy this long break from memorial day weekend. i was able to get some scrapbooking done and am in the process of working on the words of wisdom challenge on the mocha scrappers board. will post some scrappy pictures later

oh....the hubbs surprised me with tickets to the MAXWELL CONCERT....EEKK!!!! I AM TOO PUMPED. He said that since I had been working so hard....I deserved something really nice. I do love that man (most of the time....lol!!!).
